LOS GATOS, Calif. — American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW) has hired Tyler Ichien as executive director at The Terraces of Los Gatos, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in the San Jose suburb of Los Gatos.
Ichien was previously executive director at Grand Lake Gardens, a sister community of The Terraces in Oakland. His experience at The Terraces started in high school, when he worked in the dining room.
Ichien earned a bachelor’s degree in design and communications from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo with and an M.B.A. from California State University-Monterey Bay.
