BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. — American House Senior Living Communities has promoted Sheila Darga to vice president of operations for the senior living organization’s licensed communities in the Midwest and Northeast.
Darga joined the Bloomfield Hills-based operator in 2014 as director of operations and development integration.
In her new vice president role, Darga is responsible for overseeing the operations, budgeting and people management for 25 licensed assisted living, memory care and independent living communities totaling more than 850 units. She also supports new business development, market identification and serves as part of the executive team.
Immediately prior to joining American House, Darga served in leadership roles at a variety of seniors and multifamily housing companies, including Senior Village Management/CSIG, Alterra Health Care and Summit Care Corporation.
Darga received her LPN certificate from Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. She also holds a Real Estate Sales License.
