Anthem Hires Two Executive Directors in Illinois

BURR RIDGE and GLENVIEW, Ill. — Anthem Memory Care has hired new executive directors for two of its communities in the Chicago.

Jennifer Renee Mallo was named executive director of Harvester Place in Burr Ridge. Mallo, a certified dementia practitioner, was previously director of sales for Brighton Gardens of St. Charles. She has held positions with Heartland Hospice, School Health Corporation and Eden Village Retirement Community, all in Illinois.

Mallo received a master’s degree in public health policy administration from Benedictine University and a bachelor’s degree in community health education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Michael Zywicki was appointed executive director for Emerald Place in Glenview. Zywicki previously was administrator of the dementia care community Silverado Highland Park in Illinois and has also served as administrator for Appledorn Assisted Living Center and Robbinswood Assisted Living Center, both in Michigan.

Zywicki is a graduate of Michigan’s Alma College.

Anthem is a memory care operator based in Lake Oswego, Ore., with communities in California, Colorado, Illinois and Kansas.
