COVINGTON, La. — Avanti Senior Living, a developer and operator of luxury seniors housing properties, has announced plans to build Avanti Senior Living at Covington, an assisted living and memory care community in the New Orleans suburb of Covington.
Development costs for the 77,000-square-foot community will be $15 million. When complete, it will feature 60 assisted living units and 50 memory care units.
Avanti has partnered with Milton Womack Inc., a contractor based in Baton Rouge, to oversee the construction of the community.
The community will be part of a 171-acre campus consisting of Ochsner Health Center, an active senior community, wellness center, professional medical offices, a skilled nursing community and luxury apartments.
