SAN ANGELO, Texas — Baptist Retirement Community, a continuing care retirement community in San Angelo, has named Tanya Solsbery as the director of The Crest, which is part of the community’s $22 million expansion.
Solsbery was promoted from her current position of administrator of community-based services. She has 15 years of seniors housing experience, the last seven of which have been with Baptist Retirement Community.
In her new role, Solsbery will oversee the two new memory care homes, which are slated to open sometime in spring of 2016. San Angelo is located in West Texas, approximately 200 miles northwest of Austin.
Prior to joining the Baptist Retirement Community team, Solsbery was a registered nurse, clinical liaison, branch director and registered nurse case manager. She received her vocational nursing degree from Howard College and an associate’s degree in applied science and nursing from Angelo State University.
