RIDGELAND, Miss. — Blake Management Group has hired Phil Benjamson as chief operating officer.
Benjamson was formerly the chief operating officer of Parc Senior Living and managing director of Holiday Retirement Senior Living. Glenn Barclay, the company’s co-founder and current COO, will continue working with the board of directors.
“Glenn has been instrumental in leading BMG from the very first community to our current vision of over 30 communities,” says Jeremy Cole, CEO of Blake Management Group. “Phil is a seasoned senior living executive who has had oversight to 70+ communities before, while recently helping a small operator in Atlanta implement a Ritz brand of hospitality.”
Blake Management Group is an independently owned senior living operator with communities in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee. The company currently manages 12 communities, but plans to open five new communities in 2017. Additionally, Cole and Benjamson plan to open a new corporate office in Nashville, Tenn., this year.
