HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — A joint venture between Health Care Properties (HCP) and Brookdale has announced plans for a $1 million renovation and expansion of Brookdale Hoffman Estates Golf Road in the Chicago suburb of Hoffman Estates.
The project will convert existing space at the community into 19 memory care apartments. The apartments and programming are specifically designed for residents in the early stages of dementia that don’t yet need full memory care services.
Brookdale is the largest owner and operator of seniors housing communities in the United States. HCP is a publicly traded REIT that specializes in seniors housing and other healthcare real estate.
