CLEVELAND — C.C. Hodgson Architectural Group has named Richard Kieley a partner. Kieley, who has been with the firm for 16 years, has worked on projects ranging from senior living centers to multi-family communities throughout the country including Ohio, Florida, and Washington, D.C. where the firm has offices.
The group’s work in the seniors housing sector includes continuing care retirement communities, specialty healthcare, residential and highly skilled care projects for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The firm is also involved in high-rise and other residential projects.
“I’m honored to be working with visionary clients who are embracing the innovations that are occurring in this field to empower their residents to grow old with vitality,” says Kieley. “Very few firms commit all of their resources to advance the field of senior living and essentially serve as industry advocates.”
A registered architect in Ohio and Florida, Kieley has been involved in such signature projects as Bethany Lutheran Village in Dayton, Ohio, and Friendship Village in Schaumburg, Ill. He is leading the repositioning of six Lifespace Communities and master planning a new campus for Baptist Life in Kentucky.
Kieley earned his bachelor’s degree in design from Clemson University and his master of architecture from the University of South Florida. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, accredited for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Board.
He also serves on the Architectural Review Board for the City of University Heights, Ohio.
