BEDFORD, Texas — Caddis has broken ground on Heartis MidCities, a 178-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care community in Bedford, approximately 14 miles northeast of Fort Worth.
EBCO will build the property, which totals 178,530 square feet. Expedition Capital Advisors LLC provided financing to Caddis, the developer.
Caddis is based in Dallas. Heartis MidCities will be the company’s fifth community in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and 12th in Texas.
Frontier Management, an operator based in Portland, Ore., will manage the community once it is open. The architect on the development is Austin-based Katus LLC.
Caddis expects to open the community in winter 2017.
