Capitol Seniors Housing to Acquire Community in Illinois

PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Capitol Seniors Housing (CSH) will acquire the currently family-owned The Summit of Uptown, an independent living and assisted living community in Park Ridge near Chicago, on Sept. 18.

CSH will transition operations to its partner management company, The Arbor Company, but will keep all current staff. CSH also plans to complete in-progress renovations on the property.

The Arbor Company is an Atlanta-based operator of more than 25 independent living, assisted living and memory care communities in 10 states.

Based in Washington, D.C., Capitol Seniors Housing owns 45 seniors housing communities throughout the U.S. with heavy concentrations in New York, New Jersey and California.
