CBRE Hires Two for Senior Housing Investment Sales Practice

LOS ANGELES — CBRE Group Inc. has hired two employees for its National Senior Housing Investment Sales Practice, Lisa Widmier as executive vice president and Deborah Street as vice president, both of CBRE Capital Markets.

Widmier and Street join CBRE from VantAge Pointe Capital Management, a company that Widmier founded in 2008 to provide seniors housing investment sales and advisory services. Widmier will partner with Matthew Whitlock and Aron Will, both executive vice presidents, in National Senior Housing Investment Sales and Debt & Structured Finance.

Since 1988, Widmier has been involved in more than $8 billion of seniors housing investment property, capital sourcing and consulting engagements. She served as the manager of McDonnell Douglas Realty Pension Fund’s real estate portfolio totaling $40 billion in value. Previously, she was senior director of institutional marketing for CBRE Investors.

With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Street has been involved in more than $3 billion of seniors housing investment brokerage and capital sourcing.

Widmier and Street will be based in CBRE’s Carlsbad, Calif., office.
