Cushman & Wakefield Negotiates Sale of Community in Metro Atlanta for Over $37.2M

ATLANTA — Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of a 93-unit assisted living and memory care community in metro Atlanta.

A global real estate investor sold the property to a private equity fund. Although the price was not disclosed, the price equates to more than $400,000 per unit, for a total of more than $37.2 million.

The 85,000-square-foot, two-story community sits on six acres. It was built in 2009 and has historically averaged an occupancy above 95 percent. The existing operator will remain in place.

Allen McMurtry, Paul Carr, David Kliewer and Megan Fetter of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction.
