Dominion Opens Community in Tennessee, Hires Five Directors

HIXSON, Tenn. — Dominion Senior Living has opened the doors on Dominion Senior Living of Hixson, a 64-unit assisted living and memory care community in the Chattanooga suburb of Hixson.

The community’s units are split evenly between assisted living and memory care. Development costs were estimated at $8 million.

As part of the opening, Dominion also announced the hiring of five directors for the community: Becky Paris, business office director; Fred Boettcher, maintenance director; Jade Alsobrook, life enrichment director; Kara Gonder, LPN, wellness director; and Mark Shrum, dining services director. Each of these staff members will be under the direction of Beth Baxter, the community’s executive director.

Dominion is a faith-based developer, owner and operator of seniors housing communities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
