HIAWATHA, Kan. — Evans Senior Investments (ESI) has arranged the sale of Maple Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, an 82-bed skilled nursing and residential care facility in the northeast Kansas city of Hiawatha, for an undisclosed price.
The property is located five blocks from the area’s only community hospital. It features 67 skilled nursing beds and 15 residential care units.
The facility was built in 1977 and reported an 81 percent occupancy rate. At the time of sale, the facility was in receivership.
ESI represented the seller, a court approved receiver, in the transaction. The buyer was not disclosed.
