STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — Isakson Living has broken ground on a new health center at Park Springs, a 474-unit luxury continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Stone Mountain, approximately 20 miles east of Atlanta.

The health center, named Pebblebrook at Park Springs, will be based on the “household model” with smaller neighborhoods that share amenities like a kitchen and living room. It will be located on a 6.8-acre parcel adjacent to the main campus, and will feature an 18-unit rehabilitation center, 36 long-term care units and 36 memory care units.

The new buildings will replace the former health center, named Cobblestone, which will be converted into 52 assisted living units.

Park Springs is a 54-acre CCRC surrounded by Stone Mountain Park. The community currently includes 398 independent living units, 42 skilled nursing beds, 14 memory care beds and 20 assisted living units.

Isakson Living is an owner/operator based in Atlanta.
