Mainstreet Hires Nine New Employees

CARMEL, Ind. — Mainstreet, a skilled nursing developer based in the Indianapolis suburb of Carmel, has added nine new hires to its team. 

Andrew Bernethy has joined Mainstreet as an IT support specialist. Most recently, he worked at Bell Techlogix as a senior service desk analyst. Prior to Bell Techlogix, Bernethy served as an audio-visual sales associate with Fry’s Electronics. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University.

Daphne Clark was hired as vice president of strategy and product development for Mainstreet Health, the company’s operations arm. Prior to joining Mainstreet, Clark was founder and president of Uncommon Connections, where she partnered with corporate, government, non-profit and startup leaders to provide strategic leadership and operational guidance. Previously she worked for Wellpoint, where she served in various roles, including chief of staff to the CEO, staff vice president of legal and external affairs, staff vice president of corporate strategic investments and director of corporate program office. Clark earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Grove City College and received a master’s of public administration from Ball State University.

Kimberly Eaton has joined Mainstreet as a paralegal. She comes to Mainstreet from Advantage Health Solutions, where she served as a corporate legal assistant. Eaton has an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech in paralegal studies.

Joyce Fritz has joined Mainstreet as vice president of operations in Texas for Mainstreet Health. She most recently served as administrator for Remington Medical Resort San Antonio. Previously she helped develop TRISUN Healthcare and Remington Medical Resorts in Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.

Mark Fritz is Mainstreet’s new president of operations in Texas and Arizona for Mainstreet Health. He was previously co-founder of Harden Healthcare, CEO and vice chairman of TRISUN Healthcare and founder of Remington Medical Resorts.

Julie Hutchison has joined Mainstreet as an accounting manager. Most recently she worked at Milhaus as a senior staff accountant. Prior to that role, she served as staff, senior staff and manager at Crowe Horwath. Hutchison has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Ball State University. She is a certified public accountant.

Drew McCuiston is Mainstreet’s new senior associate of investments. His previous experience includes time at IU Health as director of business development and manager of financial planning and analysis, and Indiana Office of Management & Budget in multiple roles. McCuiston holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Indiana University.

Linda Slipher is Mainstreet’s newest administrative assistant. She comes to Mainstreet from St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis where she served as executive assistant to the CEO, COO and CFO. Slipher has an associate’s degree in business administration.

Darryl Wellinghoff has joined Mainstreet as the new senior vice president of business development. Prior to joining Mainstreet, he was the senior vice president of The Medicines Company (MDCO). Wellinghoff earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
