OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Indiana-based skilled nursing developer Mainstreet has opened The Healthcare Resort of Shawnee Mission, a skilled nursing facility in the Kansas City submarket of Overland Park.
Construction started on the community in November 2014 and was completed in October 2015. Mainstreet acted as developer, and The Ensign Group Inc. will act as operator.
The community includes 125 beds in a three-story, 85,635-square-foot building. The development cost was $19.8 million.
