HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. — NAI Mertz, a commercial real estate firm serving southern New Jersey and greater Philadelphia, has arranged the sale of a 4.45-acre land parcel on behalf of First Baptist Church of Huntingdon Valley.

The property was sold to memory care owner-operator Artis Senior Living, which plans to develop a 72-bed memory care community that will specialize in the care and treatment of individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. The sale price was $850,000.

The NAI Mertz team of Jeffery Licht, senior vice president, and Adam Lashner, vice president, represented First Baptist Church of Huntingdon Valley in the sale.

Groundbreaking for the 72-bed community — Artis Senior Living of Lower Moreland — is planned for this summer.

Artis Senior Living’s portfolio includes more than 20 memory care residences in development or under construction. Artis also manages six Rittenhouse Senior Living communities that are owned by Windsor Healthcare.
