WESTON, Mass. — Nauset Construction has completed the construction of a 13-unit memory care neighborhood for Maplewood at Weston, an existing seniors housing community operated by Maplewood Senior Living in the Boston suburb of Weston.
The project involved repositioning 13 assisted living units at the community into memory care units. The transformation is meant to allow more residents to age in place at the community.
The Architectural Team of Chelsea, Mass., designed the new memory care neighborhood, which also included the construction of a community kitchen and multiple common spaces.
Maplewood Senior Living, based in Westport, Conn., operates 10 communities in Connecticut, Ohio and Massachusetts. Nauset Construction is a construction management and design-build firm.
