Omega Buys 18 UK Communities for $113M

UXBRIDGE, England — Omega Healthcare Investors Inc. (NYSE: OHI) has acquired 18 communities throughout the United Kingdom for $113 million. The names of the facilities were not disclosed.

Omega immediately leased the properties to Uxbridge-based Gold Care Homes. The leases represent the second operational partnership Omega has started in the country, following the REIT’s lease of 35 U.K. facilities to Healthcare Homes Group.

Omega’s United Kingdom portfolio of seniors housing communities now includes 53 properties.
