CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Pappas Properties and Laurel Street have broken ground on Belvedere at Berewick, a 108-unit, age-restricted community in Charlotte.

The community is restricted to residents over 55 years of age. It sits on 6.5 acres and is scheduled to open in spring 2019. Monthly rents will range from $1,100 to $1,500.

The property will be located within Berewick, a 1,200-acre master-planned community in Southwest Charlotte. The community is adjacent to Berewick Town Center, a shopping center featuring a variety of restaurant, retail and grocery tenants. Pappas Properties developed Berewick, and the company’s Brian Roth brokered the land transaction for the Belvedere community.
