BROOKFIELD and GLENDALE, Wis. — Pathway to Living, a Chicago-based developer, owner and operator, is preparing to open two new seniors housing communities in the Milwaukee metro area.

Both will fall under the Heartis brand, meaning Caddis Healthcare Real Estate is a development partner on the project.

Pre-leasing has begun at Heartis Village of Brookfield in the western suburb of Brookfield, with a planned opening in September. Meanwhile, the developers plan to open Heartis Village North Shore in the northern suburb of Glendale before the end of March.

The Brookfield location will offer 70 assisted living units and 34 memory care units. As part of the new development, Caddis gifted 2.9 acres of land from the original 9.7-acre site to the city of Brookfield to support the development of a public park.

The Glendale location features 71 assisted living units and 34 memory care units on a 12-acre site.

Upon completion of the two communities, Pathway and Caddis will have partnered on four Heartis-branded communities in the Midwest.
