Presby’s to Add 85 Units, Clubhouse to CCRC Near Philadelphia for $75M

JENKINTOWN, Pa. — Presby’s Inspired Life has announced plans for a $75 million expansion at Rydal Park, a continuing care retirement community in the Philadelphia suburb of Jenkintown.

Rydal Park currently offers 509 units of independent living, “personal care,” skilled nursing and rehabilitation on a 20-acre campus. The expansion will add 85 cottages, a clubhouse with fitness center, multipurpose space, cocktail lounge, heated swimming pool, fire pit, dog park, walking trails and outdoor grilling areas.

Construction will begin once 70 percent of the new units are pre-leased. Stewart and Conners Architects is designing the project. Warfel Construction Co. will be the construction manager.

Presby’s Inspired Life is a nonprofit, faith-based CCRC and affordable seniors housing developer based in Pennsylvania. The company offers 3,000 beds across 30 communities, all in the greater Philadelphia area.
