IRVING, Texas — Presbyterian Communities and Services has hired Tim Mallad as the company’s new president.

Based in the Dallas suburb of Irving, Presbyterian Communities and Services operates two continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in Dallas, as well as Faith Presbyterian Hospice and the T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center.

Mallad joins the company from another Irving-based operator, Greystone Communities, where he most recently served as vice president. Mallad specializes in faith-based, nonprofit communities and has led many CCRCs throughout his career, including as chief operating officer and executive director.

The search for a new president took over a year, according to the company.
