DALLAS — Senior Quality Lifestyles Corp. (SQLC), a seniors housing developer based in Dallas, has named Ben Cantrell as its chief financial officer.
Cantrell is both a certified public accountant and a certified global management accountant.
Prior to joining SQLC, Cantrell served as assurance supervisor at Lane Gorman Trubitt, where he managed its continuing care retirement community (CCRC) practices.
Cantrell has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration in corporate finance and accounting, as well as a master’s degree in accounting, both from the University of Dallas in Irving.
In his role as CFO, Cantrell will oversee the finances of six CCRCs: The Buckingham in Houston, Edgemere in Dallas, The Stayton at Museum Way in Fort Worth, Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin, Mirador in Corpus Christi, and The Barrington of Carmel in Indianapolis.
