United Church Homes Plans $18M Expansion at Community in Ohio

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — United Church Homes (UCH) has unveiled a planned $18 million expansion at Trinity Community, an independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing community in the Dayton suburb of Beavercreek.

Trinity currently has 181 independent living, assisted living and cottage homes and 99 long-term care and rehabilitation beds on a 25-acre campus. The project will include two new two-story buildings to the property, which will add 32 assisted living apartments and 16 memory care units. In addition, eight existing cottage homes on campus will be replaced by 12 new two-bedroom and three-bedroom independent living cottage homes.

In addition, UCH plans to add walking paths, indoor common areas, a fitness/therapy center and snack stations.

Construction is scheduled to begin by spring 2018, with a completion timeline of 15 to 18 months. The Beavercreek Planning Commission conditionally approved the project earlier this month. UCH leaders will seek approval for the expansion from Beavercreek City Council on Sept. 11.

UCH is a nonprofit, faith-based organization operating 70 communities in 14 states.
