DURHAM, N.C. — United Methodist Retirement Homes has announced plans for a $70 million expansion at Croasdaile Village, a retirement community in Durham.

The expansion includes 18 memory care suites, 17 cottages and four villas, in addition to a physical and occupational therapy building, a modern wellness center and new dining venues. The assisted living residences will also be renovated as part of the project.

SFCS Architects will design the phased expansion. Presales have already begun, with a planned completion of late 2018.

Croasdaile Village is a 100-acre seniors housing community that initially opened in 1955.
