CLEVELAND — Walker & Dunlop Inc. (NYSE: WD), a Maryland-based commercial real estate finance firm, has hired Brian Jones to join its FHA Finance group.
Jones will originate affordable multifamily, healthcare and seniors housing loans out of Walker & Dunlop’s new Cleveland office scheduled to open on Jan. 4.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Jones served as a director at Love Funding, where he originated financing for affordable and market-rate projects and healthcare facilities through HUD and the use of low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC).
Previously, Jones served as the assistant vice president of development at Millennia Housing Development Ltd., where he was responsible for developing and preserving affordable housing. Earlier in his career, Jones was the finance director at The MetroHealth System, senior manager of the real estate services group at RMS McGladrey, and manager at Howard, Wershbale & Co., CPAs.
