MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Evans Senior Investments, a seniors housing investment banking firm, has facilitated the sale of Mira Vista Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Mount Vernon, for $9.125 million.
Built in 1987, Mira Vista comprises 94 beds and 48 units, making the sale price equivalent to $97,074 per bed. Capitalization rate is 12 percent, and annualized July 2014 revenue was $8.1 million. Occupancy is currently at 87 percent.
The buyer is a national REIT in partnership with a regional family owner-operator emerged as the best and highest bidder for the facility.
