TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. — Watercrest Senior Living Group has broken ground on Market Street Memory Care Residences, a 64-unit memory care community in the Tampa suburb of Tarpon Springs.

Watercrest plans to open the community in January 2018. The Market Street brand is Watercrest’s new memory care program, with three communities currently under development in Florida.

LifeBuilt Architecture designed the community, which features internal courtyard and an indoor “streetscape” featuring a newsstand, art gallery, bakery, salon and post office. Walker and Co. will build the 46,000-square-foot property.
